November good news – level 1
01-12-2025 15:00
Many good things are happening around the world. In Mexico, the number of jaguars grows by 30%. Scientists in Australia also successfully make baby mountain frogs in the lab for the first time.
In medicine, doctors use a robot with 5G to do surgery on a patient far away in Tibet. This shows that even people who live in hard-to-reach places can get good care. Also, Europe says yes to a new shot. The shot works very well to stop HIV. People only need it two times a year.
For the ocean, a new law will start soon. It will protect animals and water in the open ocean. Finally, Brazil makes a great step. It is getting over one-third of its power from clean wind and sun.
Difficult words: successfully (doing something in a way that leads to a good result), surgery (using tools to repair parts of a body), shot (a medical injection).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
How often must people receive the new HIV shot that Europe has approved?
