Posting Zero – level 1

16-01-2026 15:00

The internet feels very loud. There are many ads and videos. But many people post less on social media.

Young people do this most. A big study shows that fewer people share their lives online. This is called Posting Zero. People still look at posts, but they do not post.

One reason is that social media feels too perfect. People worry about what others think. Some feel bad when they share happy photos while the world has problems. So they stay quiet.

Another reason is fake users. Many posts come from computers, not people. This makes social media feel cold. People want a place where real friends share small, real moments again.

Difficult words: loud (very noisy or full of strong messages), ads (a short video to sell something), reason (why something happens).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

Which term describes users who still look at social media posts but do not share anything themselves?
