Robots run in a half-marathon

In China, robots run with people in a big race. The race is in Beijing. It is 21 kilometers long. The robots come from Chinese companies. Some are small, but some are tall. One robot smiles and winks. People are happy to watch the race.

Some robots have help from people. One robot falls but gets up again. Another robot hits a wall. One robot is very fast. It finishes the race in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The race shows what robots can do. Some people think robots will help in the future. Others are not sure.

Difficult words: race (a sport where people run), wink (to close and open one eye quickly), hit (to crash into something).
