Some people earn a lot but aren’t rich – level 1
30-07-2025 07:00
Some Americans make a lot of money, but they do not feel rich. They are called HENRYs. This means High Earners, Not Rich Yet.
Even people who make 300,000 dollars a year can have problems with money. They earn more, but they spend more too. This is called lifestyle creep. They spend more on food, rent, and fun. They also feel that they must have the same things as their friends. Many rich people live in big cities where everything is more expensive.
Experts say that people should make a plan and save money. They need to know how much money they have and how much they owe. It helps them feel better about money and the future.
Difficult words: rich (when you have a lot of money), earn (to get money for work), owe (when you must give back what you have from someone else).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What do experts advise people to do so they can feel better about money and the future?
