Teenager saves a policeman – level 2

19-01-2015 07:00

After being arrested, an African American teenager waited in a police station in Florida. He was in a room with an officer who was processing his records.

Suddenly, the policeman collapsed. He was in extreme pain and he clutched his chest. The teenager saw all of this and he called the other officers. People helped the policeman and he survived.

Both the teenager and the police officers were recognized by the public.

Difficult words: record (a list of person’s previous criminal activities), clutch (to hold tightly), recognise by the public (to show respect to somebody officially with a lot of people watching).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
