The biggest Disney cruise ship – level 3

09-03-2026 07:00

Disney plans to launch its biggest cruise ship, Disney Adventure.

The ship can carry 6,700 passengers and will start short trips from Singapore. Each trip will last three or four nights. This is the first time Disney will send a cruise ship to this part of Asia. The company wants to expand outside the United States.

Fewer international tourists now choose the United States for travel. Because of this change, Disney looks for new chances in Asia. The company already has theme parks in several Asian cities, but it doesn’t have a cruise ship in Southeast Asia. Leaders see this region as an important market with strong future growth.

The ship offers many attractions based on famous Disney stories, such as Marvel and Frozen. Families of different ages can travel together and enjoy the activities. Disney also plans further expansion and wants to add five more ships between 2027 and 2031.

Difficult words: expand (to grow or become bigger), expansion (growth of a business), add (to put something new in).
