Israel and the US carried out precise and powerful strikes on three major Iranian nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

The US used B-2 bombers with bunker-busting bombs to destroy deep underground facilities. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu praised the action, saying it may change history, and stressed the importance of peace through strength.

Iran responded by firing 30 missiles at Israel, some of which hit cities in the north and central areas. Israeli air defenses worked to intercept them, but 16 people were injured. Most missiles were stopped, though sirens failed in one place.

A think tank expert called the strike illegal under international law and warned it could backfire. He noted that Iran might withdraw from its nuclear treaty and continue enriching uranium secretly. He compared this to how Iraq expanded its nuclear efforts after an Israeli strike in 1981. He suggested diplomacy would have been a better and safer option.
