Very Big Nativity Scene – level 1

Santons are small figures. People make them from clay. This is a tradition in France.

People from one town make a big nativity scene. There are 3,500 santons in it. They hope that the nativity scene sets a new Guinness World Record.

Difficult words: figures (a thing which looks like a person), clay (a material for modelling), nativity scene (a model representing when Jesus Christ was born).
