An emotional moment happens at a meeting at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. An eleven-year-old boy from Ukraine speaks to leaders. His name is Roman Oleksiv. He talks about his mother and an attack on a hospital.
Roman says that the attack happens in July 2022. He is with his mother at the hospital. It is the last time he sees her. Many people die, and many people get hurt. Roman is also badly hurt.
Roman asks people to stay strong and help children from Ukraine. He says that people are strong when they work together. Many people feel very sad and quiet after his words.
Difficult words: emotional (showing strong feelings), hospital (a place where doctors help sick or hurt people), hurt (to cause bad feelings in the body).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
