Billie Eilish at the Grammys – level 3

Billie Eilish made history at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards on Saturday night, as she won four of the most prestigious awards. She won the record of the year, the song of the year, the best new album and the album of the year categories.

The 18-year-old musician recorded her first studio album at home with her older brother, Fineas, who co-wrote and produced the album. The album is about depression, suicidal thoughts and climate change.

Eilish appeared stunned after her name was called for song of the year, and she mentioned that the other artists deserved to win. She said that she never thought she could win anything. Eilish is the youngest person to win all four top Grammy awards in a single year and the first woman to do so.

Difficult words: prestigious (very much respected and admired by people), suicidal (related to suicide, which means causing somebody’s own death), stunned (shocked).
