Children in Uzbekistan have a new place to learn – level 2

In Tashkent, Uzbekistan, a new center for children opens inside the Center of Islamic Civilization.
Children can learn about the country’s history, famous scientists, and artists. The center uses digital exhibits, stories, and games to make learning fun. Children see animations about scholars and learn how they made important discoveries. There is also a school of calligraphy where artists teach beautiful writing. The library has more than 35,000 books and 2,500 old manuscripts. The center helps children understand the past and connect it with their lives today.
By mixing tradition with new ideas, the center shows how learning can be exciting and meaningful for children. It helps them feel proud of Uzbekistan and its history.
Difficult words: scholar (a person who studies a subject deeply and has much knowledge about it), calligraphy (art of beautiful writing), manuscript (a handwritten book).
