Eagle films London – level 1

25-11-2014 07:00

An eagle flies around London. It has a small camera on its back. The camera films everything. The big bird flies around famous buildings. It flies around St Paul’s Cathedral, City Hall, Tower Bridge and Olympic Park.

The eagle’s trip was part of a campaign. This campaign commemorates 50 years of the Red List. The Red List is a list of endangered species.

Difficult words: campaign (a series of events which try to change something), commemorate (show respect to something), endangered species (animals which are in danger – there are only a few of them in the world).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
