El Niño in Chile – level 1

29-01-2016 07:00

El Niño storms hit Chile. Big waves hit the coast. The waves are five metres big. People must close some roads.

A wave hits a car. It turns the car over. The water moves it. The passengers are fine. Other people help them.

Difficult words: storm (very bad weather), coast (land that is very close to the sea), passenger (people in a car).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.

What do you think about this storm?
