A viral weight-loss trend on TikTok uses fake AI videos to sell an app called Her75. Reporters found 11 accounts using the exact same body movements, but with different AI faces.

These videos reached millions of views, but they didn’t say they were ads. Investigators traced the clips back to real people whose original videos were stolen. People used modern AI tools to swap faces and change appearances very quickly and cheaply. Small visual mistakes, like strange moving hands, showed that the videos were fake.

The app company didn’t answer questions about these posts, but TikTok removed the fake accounts after the investigation. Experts warn that people should carefully check before-and-after videos before trusting products on social media.
