Fortune tellers work online – level 2

Many Thai people believe in astrology, and they like to know what will happen in their future. They often ask fortune tellers to tell the future. For example, they read tarot cards or use numerology.
Since the pandemic, many young Thais have more problems. They worry more about their work, and experts say that the situation is very serious. More people are using fortune tellers’ services because they believe that they will help them feel better.
People could not meet during the pandemic, so many fortune tellers worked online. One company employs 7,000 fortune tellers who meet people online. Fortune tellers say that people more often ask about work instead of love and relationships.
Difficult words: astrology (the study of the planets and stars’ movements and how they impact people), tarot cards (cards with pictures which some people use to tell the future), numerology (the study of numbers and what they mean in a person’s life).
