The war between Israel and Hamas stops for now. There is a ceasefire. People in Gaza can go home again. Many houses are gone. The streets are full of broken things.

Israeli soldiers stay in part of Gaza. Hamas must give 20 Israeli people back and 28 bodies. Israel must let 250 Palestinians and 1,700 other people go from jail.

This is only the start of a plan. Later, people will fix the houses and talk about who will lead Gaza. Families in Israel and Gaza feel happy but also scared. They hope that the fighting does not start again.

Difficult words: ceasefire (time when a war stops), jail (a place for people who break the law), scared (afraid).
