Instagram bans Kanye West – level 3

The 44-year-old rapper Kanye West was in the spotlight for several weeks on his attacks on comedian Pete Davidson.
Davidson was dating West’s ex-wife, reality star Kim Kardashian. West publicly called Kardashian to reconcile their relationship. However, the woman told West to keep their family matters private and to not speak publicly about their children’s custody.
Instagram banned West for 24 hours after he made a racist remark about ‘The Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah. An Instagram spokesperson said that it stopped West from posting, commenting, and sending messages. The post insulted Noah in response to what he said; Noah had said that West was aggressive in getting his wife back. Instagram also deleted some content from West’s account for violating rules on hate speech, bullying, and harassment.
