Pop Mart is a Chinese company that makes art toys. Its most famous toy is Labubu, which is popular all around the world.
The company is learning from Disney and wants Labubu to stay successful for many years, not just now. Pop Mart also wants to create other toys with the same level of success. It is already bigger in value than famous toy companies like Hasbro and Mattel.
The success of Labubu brought more competition to the art toy market in China. Many new companies and artists want to join this business. Pop Mart uses the ‘blind box’ system, where buyers don’t know which toy they will get, and it attracts many young women.
