Meghan’s First Job – level 2

02-04-2020 07:00

On Thursday, Disney announced that Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, narrated Disney’s new documentary. ‘Elephant’ is a movie about an elephant family that walks 1,000 miles across the Kalahari Desert.

The movie benefits Elephants Without Borders, a conservation group in Botswana.

Meghan worked with this group in the past. She met the filmmakers when she and her husband, Prince Harry, were working in Botswana a few years ago. The filmmakers contacted Meghan because they knew that she was interested in saving elephants.

The movie will first appear on Disney Plus on April 3, and it is Meghan’s first job since she and Harry finished their work for The Royal Family in early March.

Difficult words: narrate (to give spoken comments during a movie or documentary), benefit (to help or improve something), conservation group (people who help save animals in a specific area).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
