New Planet with Water – level 1
Scientists find water on a distant exoplanet. The planet is named K2-18b. It is 111 light years away.
It is the first exoplanet with water in its star’s area where things can live. This means that there can be life on the planet. Next, scientists want to know what chemicals are around the planet.
Difficult words: distant (very far away), exoplanet (a planet which orbits a star other than the sun), light year (a very far distance).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
