A man named Oscar Pistorius is a South African athlete. People call him ‘Blade Runner’ because he has fake legs.

Something terrible happens 11 years ago. Pistorius kills his girlfriend. He says that it is a mistake. He thinks that there is someone in their flat. He shoots the woman.

Pistorius goes to prison. But now he is out of prison, after almost 11 years. Pistorius is not completely free. He is on parole. This means that he has to follow some rules until 2029. The police will watch him. He needs to go to therapy and talk to a professional about his feelings. In 2029, he will be free.

Difficult words: fake (not real), mistake (when you do something wrong but you do not want to do it), therapy (the process of making someone feel good again).
