Penguin Migration – level 2

26-02-2018 07:00

Punta Tombo is a long narrow peninsula on Argentina’s central coast. It is home to the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in South America.

Each year, the penguins migrate north to Brazil. The Magellanic penguin is 50 centimetres tall. It has white feathers above its eyes.

Difficult words: peninsula (an island connected to land), coast (the part of the land by the sea), feather (the light things which grow from the skin of birds).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
