Now, prices are getting higher. Care for pets is more expensive. In the UK, many people don’t want their pet anymore. They don’t have money for food for their pets. Also, animal doctors are expensive.

Animal rescue centers are full of dogs and cats. People bring animals to them every day.

Experts say that a more difficult time will come. Many people will be poor. They hope that someone will care for the dogs and cats.

Difficult words: pet (an animal which lives with people), animal rescue center (a place for ill animals or animals, which need a home), poor (very little money).
