22-05-2024 07:00

More and more people in the EU are not happy with the politics. Political violence is growing. There are more attacks on politicians. More people are having extreme ideas.

Recently, a man shoots Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. This is the first attack on a European leader since 2003. There are more problems, the elections and the political mood of people. Extreme political groups are getting stronger across Europe. It brings more violence. In Germany, attacks on politicians almost double in five years. There are 2,790 attacks in 2023. In France, there are 32% more attacks on politicians in 2022.

People do not believe that politicians are doing good things for them. They do not want to be in politics anymore.

Difficult words: violence (hurting others), extreme (strong and unusual), elections (when people vote people for a job in politics).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
