A terrible attack happens at Charles University in Prague, the Czech Republic. A man kills several people. The man is only 24 years old. He is a student at the university.

The student plans the attack. He has more guns with him. He kills 14 people and hurts 25 people. Earlier in the day, he kills his father.  Then, he travels to Prague by bus. The man kills himself before the police do it. Police find out that the man kills two more people a few days earlier. He kills a man and a two-month-old baby.

On December 23, the country mourns. Such attacks are not usual in the country. This is the worst attack since 1993.

Difficult words: terrible (very bad), mourn (to be very sad because someone is dead).
