Russia on Kim and Trump – level 2

25-09-2017 07:00

There are tensions between North Korea and the USA. Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un are trading insults through media in front of the whole world.

Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, talks about the current situation. He says that it is bad to exchange threats and that Russia does not want war with North Korea. Towards the end of his speech, he compares Trump and Kim to two boys in kindergarten.

Difficult words: tensions (unfriendly relations), insult (something mean that you say about another person), threat (say that you will do something bad to somebody).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
