Stolen Cars in Thailand – level 2

11-07-2017 07:00

In Thailand, Thai customs seized 122 luxury cars and is inspecting 300 other vehicles that people think were stolen and imported there illegally. Fifteen of the cars were from the UK, which British authorities had reported as stolen.

Thai customs showed some of the cars on the news to show that they found the cars. They also found cars that were illegally put together in Thailand.

Difficult words: customs (the organisation in charge of knowing what comes into and out of a country), seize (when a law lets police take something), import (bring into a country).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
