Three men jump out of a plane – level 2

88-year-old Fred Lake had a dream. He wanted to jump out of a plane, and for many years, he tried to convince his son to do it with him.
Then Fred saw a story on TV about grandmothers who jumped out of a plane and about an organization which helped them. This organization helped older people who had little money to fulfill their dreams. Fred called the founder of the organization, and the man agreed to help him.
Then the day came. It was a special day for Fred. Two other men from the Lake family came with him and they were all veterans. All three jumped together on Veterans Day, which is a special day when people in the US remembered all people who served in the military. Fred, his son, and grandson spent only a few minutes in the sky, but they said that they would never forget this day.
Difficult words: convince (to make somebody agree or believe), founder (a person who starts a company), veteran (a person who works in the military in the past).
