Typhoon Jebi – level 2

10-09-2018 07:00

More than a million Japanese had to evacuate as Typhoon Jebi is coming. It brings 160-kilometre-per-hour winds, and it is the strongest typhoon since 1993.

Airports and train stations are closed because of water. Water flooded the runway at the Kansai International Airport.

A big tanker even smashed into the side of a bridge.

Difficult words: flooded (covered under water), tanker (a big ship which usually carries oil), smash (hit with a lot of force).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
