The Perth Mint in Australia made the world’s biggest gold bar which weighs 521.2 kilograms. It broke the old record of 300 kilograms held by Dubai.

Over 35 experts worked together for three days to make it, and judges from Guinness World Records watched the whole process. The bar is special because it has a very high purity of 99.999 percent, which is extremely difficult to achieve. The metal alone is worth more than 100 million dollars, but the bar was created to show the world how skilled Australian gold makers are. People will soon be able to see the giant bar on display at the Perth Mint. Today, gold is a very important business in Australia. It brings in billions of dollars in exports every year.
