13-07-2021 07:00

A Dutch creator makes a very big sandcastle. 30 sculptors help him. They build the sandcastle in Blokhus, Denmark. The sandcastle is almost 21 meters high. It is the biggest sandcastle in the world.

The sculptors build a tower. It is from wood. They put clay on it. Clay is soft when it is wet. It is hard when it dries.

The sculptors put 4,500 tons of sand on the clay. They need glue. It sticks the clay and the sand together. Coronavirus is on top of the sandcastle. It shows the power of the coronavirus.

A sandcastle festival is in the town every year. People will celebrate that their sandcastle is the largest in the world.

Difficult words: creator (a person who has an idea and he makes it real), sculptor (an artist who makes things from stone, metal or clay), wood (a material which comes from trees).
