Apple has unveiled its long-awaited augmented reality headset, called Apple Vision Pro, along with updates to its iPhone operating system and MacBook Air.
The headset, priced at 3,499 dollars, will be released early next year and offers a two-hour battery life. It blends the real and virtual worlds, which allows users to interact with digital content through hand gestures, eye movements, and voice commands. While the cost is significantly higher than other virtual reality headsets on the market, Apple aims to position the device as part of users’ daily lives, offering more than just gaming experiences.
However, there are concerns about the limited market for this type of wearable technology and the high price point. The announcement marks Apple’s first major hardware launch in almost a decade.
