People riot in the US in January 2022. They are angry. They want President Trump to stay president. President Biden is the new president. The people storm government buildings.

People riot in Brazil in January 2023. The reasons are similar. They are angry. They want President Bolsonaro to stay president. President Lula is the new president. The people storm government buildings.

President Lula wins the job in October 2022. People riot since then. President Bolsonaro does not believe he should finish the job. President Trump says the same thing when President Biden wins.

Recently, Brazil’s government says that it stops the riots. The people who riot are in trouble. The police arrest over 400 people.

Bolsonaro says that he does not like the riots. US President Biden wants to help Brazil’s government. A US official says that the US must make Bolsonaro leave the country.

Difficult words: riot (to act violently because of something that officials do), storm (to enter violently), riot (a situation when many people act violently).
