Europe stops post to the US – level 2

Europe will stop sending many parcels to the United States because of a new tax rule.
US President Donald Trump cancelled a tax exemption for goods under 682 euros. The White House says the change is to fight crime and stop illegal goods, but many European postal companies say the new system is unclear. People can still send small letters and parcels under 85 euros.
Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Italy already stopped deliveries, and France, Austria, and the UK will stop next week. Spain said it must protect customers from delays.
The change will make it harder for small businesses in Europe to sell products to the US, because all packages will now have to pay extra taxes.
Difficult words: parcel (a box or a package you send in the post), exemption (a rule which keeps you away from paying a tax), goods (things for sale).
