Fewer cars in the streets of Baku – level 1

29-12-2025 07:00

Baku in Azerbaijan changes how people move in the city. Many streets help people walk, ride bikes, and use buses. The city builds bike lanes and bus lanes. Fewer cars use these streets.

Many people ride bikes or scooters every day. They save time and money. Train and metro places have bike parking. It helps people change how they travel.

Baku also adds electric buses. These buses help people without cars. The city wants clean air and easy travel for everyone.

Difficult words: bike lane (a part of the road for bikes only), scooter (a small vehicle, often electric, for one person), add (to put more of something in one place).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

What benefits do many people gain from riding bikes or scooters every day?
