Free condoms – level 1

France has a problem with sexually transmitted diseases. These diseases happen when people have sex. Since 2020, these diseases happen more often. The French president says that the sexual education is very bad in France.
Since 2018, the French can get free condoms in a drugstore. They must have written permission from a doctor. This situation will change next year. All people between 18 to 25 years old will get free condoms.
Another important change happens with contraception. Contraception is pills or surgeries which stop a woman from pregnancy. Since this year, contraception is free for all women up to 26 years old.
Difficult words: sexual education (when children or young people get information about sex and relationships), drugstore (a shop where you can buy medicines, make up, and other things), pregnancy (when a woman’s body has a baby inside).
