Liberland is a plan for a new country on a small piece of land in Europe. A Czech man named Vít Jedlička starts it in 2015.

The man wants a place with no taxes and no big government rules. Some people buy passports. They want more freedom. But Liberland is not a real country today. No other country says that it is real. Police from Croatia watch the border and stop people from living there. There are no houses or towns, only trees and a beach next to the river.

Many people like the dream of Liberland, but they cannot move there yet.

Difficult words: tax (money which people must pay to the government), freedom (when you can do, say, and think what you want), border (the official line between two countries).
