Reports say that Microsoft will cut thousands of jobs. Many people will leave the company.

In recent years, the demand for computers is lower. People do not buy many computers. This news is bad for Microsoft. Its business is not very good. The company must save money. Reports say that 11,000 Microsoft workers will lose their jobs.

Problems in the tech sector are happening. Other big companies cut jobs, too. These companies are Meta and Amazon. They plan for a worse economic situation. They must save money, too.

Difficult words: cut (to lose or drop), demand (when many people want to buy something), tech sector (companies which sell computers and electronics).
