Moldova attacks

Moldova is a country. It neighbors with Ukraine. Transnistria is a part of Moldova. It is near the border with Ukraine.

In the past weeks, several attacks happen in Transnistria. Bomb alerts happen in schools and hospitals. A bomb alert is when someone says that he puts a bomb somewhere. Then all the people must leave the place.

Last week, someone throws a grenade at a government building. People start to worry. They think a war can start there.

Moldovan authorities watch the situation closely. Some people in Transnistria agree with the war in Ukraine.

Difficult words: neighbor (to be next to something), border (a line between two countries), grenade (a small bomb which people throw by hand).
