Orcas and dolphins hunt together – level 1
16-12-2025 07:00
Orcas and dolphins work together in the ocean. They look for salmon near the coast. This action is not usual. Scientists see it when they study other things in the sea. They use small cameras to watch the animals.
Dolphins swim deep. They use sound to find fish. Orcas swim near the dolphins and listen. The orcas find big salmon this way. Dolphins cannot eat this fish alone.
Orcas catch the fish and share food. Dolphins eat small parts. Both animals get food. This work helps them live in the sea.
Difficult words: action (something people or animals do), deep (far down, not near the top), sound (something you hear).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
How do orcas locate big salmon by swimming near dolphins?
