24-11-2017 15:00

Robert Mugabe is the president in Zimbabwe. He is the president for 30 years. His vice president is a possible new president. Mugabe fires him.

The army holds Mugabe. The ruling party tells him that he must resign. People do not want him to be president any more.
Mugabe agrees to resign. The ruling party names the vice president as the new president.

Mugabe has little power left. He talks to the army about his exit plan.

Difficult words: ruling party (a group of people who are leaders of a country), resign (choose to stop working at your job), agree (say yes).
