This news is from Kazan. It is a city in Russia. A shopping centre is in the city. A fire starts in the shopping centre. The flames cover all of the building.

Around 600 people are in the shopping centre. Most of them leave the building. Five people die in the flames. Part of the building collapses. It traps around 25 people.

We don’t know what started the fire.

Difficult words: flames (fire), collapse (to fall down), trap (who you cannot move because there is something around you or on top of you).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
