The best way to sleep – level 2

17-12-2025 07:00

People sleep in different ways, but experts say that people mostly sleep on their side, back, or stomach.

Sleep position feels personal, but it can have an impact on health. Some old ideas link sleep position to personality, but experts don’t believe this. Modern research shows that sleep position can change how the body feels in the morning.

Sleeping on the stomach is not popular and often causes neck or back pain. Sleeping on the back can help with lower back pain, but it can also cause snoring and breathing trouble. For this reason, some people shouldn’t sleep on their backs.

Many doctors recommend sleeping on the side. It helps the back stay straight and can reduce heartburn. The left or right side may help with different health problems. People move a lot during sleep, and this movement helps the body feel better.

Difficult words: personality (the way a person thinks, feels, and acts), snore (to make loud breathing sounds while sleeping), heartburn (a hot or burning feeling in the chest or throat).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

Which sleep position can help alleviate lower back pain but may lead to snoring and breathing trouble?
