The US attacks Venezuela – level 1
06-01-2026 07:00
The US President Donald Trump orders attacks in Venezuela. Bombs hit the capital city. People hear loud sounds and feel their homes move. Smoke goes up into the sky. Many people are scared. They send messages to family and friends.
The Venezuelan government says no to the attack. Leaders say that the US wants oil and power. They ask other countries for help. The government calls a country emergency. The army does not stop the attack.
US soldiers take President Maduro and his wife to New York. Maduro has problems with drugs and guns in the US. Trump says that the US will control Venezuela for some time.
Difficult words: order (to tell someone to do something), power (control over others), emergency (a serious and dangerous situation).
