The US published a new National Security Strategy where it criticizes Europe. It says Europe has too many rules, no confidence, and has to deal with risks from immigration.
The US wants to help Europe change the way it is going. Some leaders in Europe say the US is still a partner, but Germany says America shouldn’t control EU’s things.
The strategy shows support for far-right political parties in Europe. Experts explain this is part of a new US foreign policy. The US cares about its friends more than other countries. Some Europeans feel worried because this may create problems in NATO.
Some people are scared that this plan could divide Europe and impact friendship with America.
