Two planes crash in the US in one week – level 2
04-02-2025 07:00
A small medical plane crashed near a shopping center in Philadelphia. Six people on the plane died, including a child. A person in a car was also killed, so seven people died altogether. Nineteen people are in hospitals.
Investigators are looking at the crash site to find out why the plane went down. Security cameras recorded a big fire that burned cars and houses. The child on the plane was traveling back to Mexico after medical care. Her mother, two pilots, a doctor, and a paramedic were also on board. Officials warned people about fake requests to donate money online.
This crash happened two days after another serious accident. Authorities say flying is still safe, but investigations are ongoing.
Difficult words: paramedic (a person who is trained to do medical work), request (asking politely or formally for something), ongoing (still happening).
