Two big companies Warner Brothers Discovery and Paramount Global may merge. When two companies merge, they join together to make one big company.

The CEOs talk about it in Manhattan. They talk about making a very big media company. They have lots of movies and TV shows. The bosses meet to decide. But we do not know who will be the boss of the new company. It may be hard. Some people may not like it. There are official rules. They can have an impact on the merger.

Both companies have good things. Warner Brothers has its studios.  Paramount has a streaming service called Paramount Plus. We have to wait and see if they can join.

Difficult words: CEO (the boss of a company), rule (what someone must or must not do), merger (when two companies join together).
