People look for lost things – level 1

05-08-2025 07:00

In Texas, there is a big flood. Water takes many things. People lose clothes, toys, and photos. A woman makes a group. The name is “Found on the Guadalupe River.” She wants to help people.

Many people join. They look for things. They clean clothes. They find toys. They take pictures. They put them on Facebook. They help people find their things.

People feel a little happier. They find old things. They remember good times. This work gives hope. The group helps people feel strong.

Difficult words: flood (too much water on land), join (to take part in an activity or group), hope (the feeling that something good will happen).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

How do members of “Found on the Guadalupe River” help flood victims recover their lost belongings and lift their spirits?
