Forbes is a US business magazine, and every year, it makes a list of the richest people in the world. This year, singer Rihanna became the richest female musician in the world.

Rihanna earns about 1.7 billion dollars, but her money comes from more than singing. She is a successful businesswoman, too, and she works with the world’s top fashion and cosmetics companies. Forbes wrote that only about 270 million dollars came from singing and acting.

Yet not all of what Rihanna did was a success. One of her fashion businesses closed down in November 2020. The reason was the coronavirus pandemic which affected more than small businesses but also luxury brands.
