AI toys – level 2
25-12-2025 07:00
More AI toys appear in shops before the holiday season. These toys talk, listen, and answer to children.
Companies say the toys are fun, help, and can make children happy. Some toys act like friends and react to touch and voice instead of movement. They target older children and focus on feelings, not games.
Some experts warn families about AI toys. They say there are not enough rules or studies about them. Many toys get information, and children often share secrets with them. Kids also take these toys to different places at home.
In the past, one AI toy said bad things to children, which made some people worry. Still, large toy companies work on new AI toys with tech partners. At the same time, usual toys and movie characters stay popular. Many children prefer familiar characters, especially when new movies bring them back again.
Difficult words: appear (to come into view or start to exist), target (a person or group you want to reach), secret (information that nobody knows).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
Why do some experts warn families about AI toys, given their information-gathering features and the ways children use them around the home?
